“It is not what you say that matters, it is what you do, actions always speak louder than words, they speak for you. Do not live in contradiction, if you cannot do it, do not say it.”—(via thegodlight)
It does not bother me if people feel uncomfortable around me as a lesbian queer. I mean, this feeling may arise if you’re exposed to anything you are not use to. It’s what you do with that uncomfortable feeling that determines who you are.
Do you hit me? Do you hate? Do you love me? Do you call me names? Do you pray for me? Do you accept me? Do you respect me? Do you attempt to learn from me? Do you appreciate my differences? Do you shun me?
“Before you speak, listen.
Before you write, think.
Before you spend, earn.
Before you invest, investigate.
Before you criticize, wait.
Before you pray, forgive.
Before you quit, try.
Before you retire, save.
Before you die, give.”—William Arthur Ward (via lucifelle)
